On Sunday we are leaving for Texas for a much overdue visit with family. We are all pretty excited since its been over a year since we've seen them. That being said we have a pretty full weekend coming up. Doctor's appointment, Braves game, Dave Ramsey conference, seeing cousins, and then hitting the road. I'm sure I'll be blogging about it all when I return, but until then know that I am blissfully busy until my next post.
"...I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. I was given life that I might enjoy all things. I got nothing that I asked for, but everything I hoped for. Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered. I am, among all men, most richly blessed.”
But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

For Gramps and Mema
My parents left Friday morning for California where they are having a much deserved getaway. That being said I'm sure they miss this little guy - I mean who wouldn't, right? So this gives me the chance to upload a few recent pictures of Levi that I think are just stinkin' cute. Our little way of saying hey to Gramps and Mema who are so far away. We hope they hare having a great trip. My mom had her gall bladder removed before they left and Levi has been pretty concerned about her telling me from time to time "Mema hurts." So here is a little Levi love from GA saying come back soon! We miss you!

I'm Not One to Complian, BUT...
My pregnancy has been going wonderfully. I feel great with the exception of the minor aches and pains associated with a growing belly and baby. That being said, I really hate to complain about an awesome and smooth pregnancy, but I do have one complaint...HEARTBURN! I had heartburn with Levi, but the really bad stuff didn't start until about month 6 or 7. I'm in my 6th month (24 weeks) now and have been having horrible heartburn for weeks (probably since the 4th month). It is absolutely horrible. Worst is that I feel like everything causes it. Any kind of food, eating too little, eating too much, eating too early, eating too late, even water, and all in between. Seriously everything and even nothing cause me to have heartburn. I've been taking Prevacid, but even that doesn't help all the time. I am really appreciative for the relief it gives, but I'm really looking forward to the end of the road when heartburn is no longer an everyday irritation. So there is my complaint. A friend told me yesterday of a remedy she used while pregnant (sounds like her heartburn was just as bad as mine is) that I'm anxious to try. I'll let you know if I find relief.
