“Serve the LORD in sincerity and in truth... Choose you this day whom you will serve.
But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Thrusday Concerts

On Thursdays in May the arts association sponsors concerts on the square. We have gone the last two weeks and have been having lots of fun. We meet up with some friends from church, picnic, and enjoy the music for the week. Last week we listened to some of the local high school bands and today was a local country artist. Levi loves eating lunch outside and dancing to the music. Today he made up a game where he tossed leaves and sticks into the hole of a curled up garden hose that was left behind. I absolutely love his imagination in times like these. The bottom picture is his reaction when he made it into the middle (the object of his little game). Priceless! Its been so nice to relax in the sun and enjoy an hour or so together with good music.
Eating our freshly popped popcorn.

Noah's Ark

Friday Aaron surprised me by taking the day off to spend with us. He planned the whole day. We took the kids to Noah's Ark in Locust Grove. Its FREE (well they ask for donations) and so much to see. They have great exhibits and lots of exotic animals. We had so much fun that Levi didn't want to leave. Here are just a few pictures from our day.
My favorite people.
The is a bear and a lion laying on the porch. A tiger is in there with them too!

7 Years

This past Sunday Aaron & I celebrated 7 years of marriage. I've never been happier, and I'm so blessed to live the most amazing life with the most amazing partner.

4 Months

Naomi had her 4 month check-up this week. She is growing so fast that I can hardly believe it! She was such a trooper getting her second set of shots, and she even got a new book from the doctor for doing so well. She even rolled over for the doctor at her check-up even though I haven't been able to get her to do it again. Before I know it she'll be walking and running so I'll be patient and not rush the growing. Love you Naomi!!Birth: 8 lbs. 15 oz., 20 1/4 in.
4 Days (1/4/11): 8 lbs. 5.5 oz., 20 1/4 in.
2 weeks (1/18/11): 9 lbs. 7.5 oz. (97%), 21 1/4 in. (90%)
2 months (3/3/11): 12 lbs. 15 oz. (95%), 23 1/2 in. (90%)
4 months (5/3/11): 15 lbs. 9 oz. (90%), 24 3/4 in. (75%)

During the last month...

We have been busy. We'll that is a bit of an understatement, and May is looking pretty jam packed too, so enjoy this post because I never know when I'll get another update on here. Here is a look at what we've been up to.
Just a typical day in our house...building bugs and then fighting with them.
We celebrated Easter by hitting up a few egg hunts and lunches with family. Levi was super excited about all the candy, and really had a great time finding eggs. We even had to rehide some for him to continue looking. He is too stinkin' cute! We also had an Easter production at our church where Aaron participate in the role of Christ. He did an awesome job as always. Just a swingin'!
So excited about his prize in the egg hunt...a monster truck! Naomi is getting bigger and bigger and bigger. I can't believe she is already 4 months old. I've taken a few photos of her lately (a few would certainly be an understatement). Here are some I love...
Love these little toes!

  • She has brown eyes just like the rest of us.
  • She loves to be sung to.
  • She sleeps through the night from about 9 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
  • She nurses 5 times a day.
  • She is trying to learn to sit up.

29 on the 29th

Last week I turned 29. I know...who would have guessed? A husband, two kids, a year away from 30 and I still feel like I'm 16 most days! I guess aging isn't an option so I'll just make the most of it. Thanks to everyone who helped me celebrate...it was wonder-mazing!
The card Levi gave me...

Totally perfect for a 2 year old right?

And this pretty baby was a gift from my parents.

Thanks Mom & Dad!
