“Serve the LORD in sincerity and in truth... Choose you this day whom you will serve.
But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Hello

Okay, so today I met Mom & Beth for lunch just as I do every Wednesday. Lunch was great and all was good. We were getting ready to leave so I started cleaning off the table, putting our trays away, etc. Before we hit the road I thought it might be a good idea to hit the restroom since we had a few stops before we reached home. There are only two stalls in the restroom and when I walked in one was already occupied. As I entered the free stall the lady in the other stall said...

At first I ignored her and continued to my "business." Then I heard her again. "Hello." She was saying it in kind of an anxious tone, so I thought "Hey, help a girl out. She might need toilet paper or something." I answered back "Yes?" Nothing. She didn't say anything so I figured it was just a random thing. I heard the door to the bathroom open and close so I assumed she left. I finished up and walked out of the stall. There was now a lady waiting for the restroom and the other was still occupied. I went to wash my hands as the lady took my stall and there it was again. "Hello." This time the new lady and myself both ignored her. I mean I'd already offered my help and she ignored it, so what was I suppose to do? Again, "Hello." Ok, I answer "Yes?" Nothing. "Hello." I'm getting frustrated now, but answer again "Yes?" (probably in a tone that showed my frustration). Nothing. As I'm drying my hands she walks out of the stall with a bluetooth on her ear and a blackberry in her hand! What makes it worse was that she was an employee. I guess she wanted to use the phone while at work and went to the bathroom to make her phone call. I was so annoyed. I went back to the table and told mom what happened. Mom then went to the restroom and the lady did the same thing to her! You would think at some point in time she would have said something to let me know that she wasn't talking to me. Why do people feel the need to talk on the phone in the bathroom anyway? It's just weird.

I really hate when that happens. I once held an entire conversation with a woman before she showed me that she was on the phone & wasn't talking to me.

that's hilarious, but i thought you were going to tell me about some new freaky technology where the toilet talks to you! hahahahaha!

That is pretty funny. I was waiting for you to tell me the toilet was the one greeting you! I am serious!
