But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Inch Worm

Levi is CRAWLING!!!! I know. He's mobile! I should be honest and say that he doesn't really have it mastered just yet. He is more of an inch worm right now. He gets on his knees, rocks back and forth, and lunges forward. It is so precious. The other morning I put him in front of the TV with his toys and went to iron my shirt. I wasn't gone no more than two or three minutes, but when I came back in the living room to check on him he wasn't where I left him. I scanned the room quickly and there he was - right at my feet in the corner of the room. He had done wondered half way across the room. I completely overlooked him because I really wasn't expecting him to move that far so quickly. I guess between him crawling and rolling I'll just be chasing him around the house all day. I hope to put a better video up soon after he masters crawling a little more.

He is learning so much. It is truly amazing to watch him grow. I find myself getting so excited whenever he does anything developmentally profound. Just the other day I was watching him play on the floor. He had a toy in his right hand and all of his other toys were on his right side so his left hand couldn't reach them. He kept trying with his left hand to reach the toys, but just couldn't manage. Finally he moved the toy he was holding with his right hand to his left hand and picked up the toy he wanted. Only a mother would be so proud of something that seems so small, but I know he has to develop those skills and so when he does I get so excited. Now that he's figured it out I see him using that skill all the time. Aaron & I are always cheering him on anytime he does something. I can't wait to see what he'll discover next.

this video really doesn't do it justice. He actually has taken steps...not just the inchworm! IT is too cute to watch him get on all fours and just look at you and rock and then think about it and finally move. I'm so proud!!!
